The Baildon Canter and Widdop were both fast races. Unfortunately the first three over the line in the Canter, including Baildon's
Michael Malyon, had taken the wrong route and didn't feature in the prize list, but the pace was electrifying. Baildon Runners and
Saltaire Striders were both well represented with Gareth Holme next home for Baildon in 21:41 followed by team mate James Bryson, who won MU23 in 22:20..
Darren Kay (CVFR) set a new course record at Widdop. Queensbury and Baildon finished 8th and 9th men's teams and Baildon's
Kate Walter and Linda Carey added the joker points to their growing individual scores.
The next fixtures are the Pendle 3 Peaks on 22 August and the Tour of Norland Moor on 30 August. Distance training for the Yorkshireman (13 September) is well underway, and the final fixture is Beefy's Nab, a sprint up and down Nab Hill in Oxenhope
