• How much does it cost to join Baildon Runners?

The cost for the remainder of the year (to the end of March 2026) is £30 and includes your England Athletics affiliation fee (currently £20).

• Where and when do you meet?

We meet at Baildon Rugby and Cricket Club on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7pm, but we occasionally meet elsewhere. If you are thinking about joining, please contact welcome@baildonrunners.co.uk to check where the next session is being held.

• Are there any other costs of membership?

Your membership fee covers all our club sessions, but we would encourage you to purchase some BR training kit and merchandise from our members store. Racing with BR will save you £2 on most races.

• How far and fast do I need to run?

It would be good for all prospective members to be able to run at least 5k (3 miles). If you are building up to 5k, look out for our periodic Couch to 5k programmes. Our training sessions cater for all abilities and our social Thursday club runs have 5-6 groups for faster to steadier runners. All groups stop and re-group regularly so no one gets left behind.

• Will I be safe?

All our running sessions are lead by a fully qualified England Athletics Run Leader or Coach. All our leaders and coaches have been DBS checked and are also really friendly and approachable. We risk assess all our routes. If running in the dark, we insist on all runners wearing hi visibility reflective clothing

• How do I Join?

Membership is managed through our MemberMojo members portal. Once you submit the form, it will be reviewed by our membership team and once accepted, you will be emailed to ask for payment.
