Competitions and Racing
We offer many participatory events throughout the year to help you keep at your best and indulge in some friendly competition with your fellow members and other clubs. See some of the things we do below.
Summer Championship Competition
Our Summer Champs competition takes in many local races and events and awards points for you to compete against other members. Bonus points are awarded for participating and trying something new!
Relays
Get involved as part of a team! We participate in many local relay races, including the Bradford Millennium Way, Calderdale Way, Leeds Country Way, Danefield (Chevin), Gathering Winter Fools and many others.
West Yorkshire Winter League
We compete each winter with 18 other clubs as part of the West Yorkshire Winter League. Friendly, but challenging 5 mile off-road courses will put a smile on your face each time (and probably some mud).
Masters and Veterans
For those over 35, we affiliate with and compete in the Yorkshire Veterans’ Athletics Association Championships and Grand Prix Competitions
A number of our members have represented Yorkshire and Great Britain at Masters’ events across the globe.
